Before a session at a PC club
General guidance for planning a PC session. This page is not a list of Monopolis facilities and does not recommend an unverified computer club.
Choose around the group
Start with the number of players and the game you intend to use. Ask whether it is installed, whether updates may need time, and whether adjacent seats are available. Confirm how the session timer works and the total charges before beginning.
Check equipment with the staff
Try the keyboard, mouse, headset and audio settings. Adjust the chair for comfort and keep your belongings clear of your working space. Report a problem early rather than waiting until well into the session.
Look after personal accounts
Avoid saving passwords on shared machines. Use the security features provided by your account service, keep sign-in codes private, and sign out of applications and browsers before leaving. The end of a paid session does not necessarily sign every account out.
Agree on the pace
Set a finish time and leave room for breaks. If playing with friends, agree on voice communication and how to take turns when players outnumber devices. Do not change system settings or install software without the operator’s permission.
From the screen to the table
For board games, the focus moves from accounts and equipment to rules, components and turns. Both kinds of visit are more comfortable when the group discusses what it needs before setting off.
